The Janet Madden Classic at Carter Park will begin on Friday May 29 (Evening) and conclude on Sunday May 31. (All teams are required to play on Friday, if you are an out of town team, we will give you a late game on Friday!) Games start at 5pm on Friday! Entry fee is $450 for the 8u Division $525 for the 9u-14u age divisions. 14U division is (60/90). For more information contact Justin Reitz (jtrbowler300@yahoo.com). Background behind the name of this tournament - Janet Madden, she has been one of our assistants when it comes to checking teams in, making phone calls to coaches about rain delays/game time changes, taking care of our umpires, and basically just helping out wherever she can. Over the last 4 years she has been battling some health issues. Dave and I thought it was the right thing to do to name this tournament after Janet Madden because of her dedication, devotion, hard work, and hours spent helping our tournaments and Carter Park over the last 17 years. Our goal is to have her be at each awards ceremony at this tournament and help pass out our Championship and Runner-Up awards. 

In 2026 Carter Park will feature a brand new restroom facility at both their North and South complexes!

You must have a paid 2026 Five Tool Membership Fee, Valid Team Insurance (Five Tool listed as additional insured), and Roster Online (with all players being parent approved) to play in this event!

There will be an admission charge for this event. Carter Park charges daily admission! $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 7-17 (ages 6 and under - free). There is also a $15 weekend pass for an individual and a $30 Family Pass which gets (mom, dad, siblings) in! Senior Citizen Daily Pass is $5, Senior Citizen Weekend Pass is $10.
